Applying On Spec
We operate a “recruitment bank” system, therefore we welcome speculative applications. In these instances, we will consider your application and hold your details on file until a suitable vacancy arises.
Recruitment Days/Jobs Fairs
Look out in the local press and on our website for details of upcoming events that we may be involved in.
Stage 2: Contacted
Successful applicants will be short-listed and contacted within 4 weeks of any closing date to be invited to attend an interview.
Stage 3: Interview
Getting the right person is extremely important to us. As part of your interview, you may be asked to carry out a presentation or be given a case study to answer. We may also ask you to spend time at one of our centres, so you may find out more about the role and we find out more about you.
Stage 4: Shadowing
Once we have conducted interviews, we will then shortlist candidates to take part in our shadowing stage. Ideally this will entail you spending a day at the centre for which the role is advertised. During this time you will meet the Performance Manager, other staff and students at the centre. You will also be required to undertake a basic skills assessment to identify your current levels in English & Maths.
Just as it is important for us to find the right person, it is also essential that individuals have an insight into Juniper to ensure that we are also right for you!
Stage 5: Confirmation
Confirmation letters will follow for both all successful and unsuccessful candidates who have attended interviews and shadowing stages.
Electronic Application Form Guidance Notes
The recruitment and selection process is vitally important to Juniper Training in it’s strive for excellence and to comply with our equal opportunities policy.
To ensure we are meeting our commitment to equality we will detach the monitoring section on receipt of your application, so that your ethnic origin, age, gender or disability will form no part of the initial short listing process. Once this exercise has been completed, your personal details will be retrieved for monitoring and correspondence purposes.
As part of the selection process, we invite candidates in for interview and if successful, we then encourage candidates to spend one day shadowing experienced members of staff at our centres to ensure that you have understanding of our environment.
Replies will only be sent to applicants who are successful for interview.
Please be aware that it is our policy not to provide feedback to candidates who have been unsuccessful. We have taken this decision due to the number of applications we receive, and the fact that it is difficult not to offend, as no-one really likes to hear why their application has been unsuccessful!
