As the year draws to a close and the festivities at this special time of year are in full swing it only feels right to sit back, relax and reflect on what 2018 meant to us all.

For us here at Juniper we can reflect on some amazing successes, awesome milestones and moments that we are so proud to have achieved in 2018, but even more so how we have helped so many individuals reach their own goals and grow not only in terms of gaining results and qualifications but in terms of growing within themselves in doing so.

Because at Juniper we are a Matrix accredited company who is committed to assisting students to unlock and fulfil their potential by increasing expectations and raising their aspirations.

So as New Years Eve approaches we shall be making a toast to all of these great successes in 2018;

  • We opened new centres in Ashton-Under-Lyne and Lichfield

  • Celebrated our 35th anniversary of delivering youth programmes

  • Walsall Council made us one of their preferred apprenticeship providers

And in terms of our results… we achieved the following during the 2017/2018 academic year;

  • 68% of students achieved their Maths GCSE

  • 65% of students achieved their English GCSE

  • 82% of students achieved their BTEC Workskills Qualification

  • 75% of students achieved Functional Skills in Maths

  • 77% of students achieved Functional Skills in English

As much as these facts and superb figures make us all smile, it is some of the many amazing comments that our staff and colleagues receive each and every day, them comments that make everything all worthwhile in terms of helping others grow and maximise their potential to succeed.

From the students themselves;

“I’m really enjoying my time here at Juniper. It is a fantastic ‘alternative’ to a college and provides you with many opportunities. I feel that my skills are developing very well and I feel ready to begin work experience. Staff are very friendly and supportive and make you feel welcome.”

And on to the next year…

With the above echoing voices and thoughts we look forward to the end of 2018 and the start of 2019. But most of all wish you all the success and happiness for the coming year as we promise to continue helping students unlock their potential and reach their aspiring goals like we have done for the past 35 years and now counting

May 2019 be everything you dream of and so much more.
