Juniper Training (formerly Carver Training) started its life in 1983 as an independent Wolverhampton YTS training provider. With the arrival of the new millenium, Juniper embraced the opportunity to expand from a very small training provider to what it is today; a regionally based training organisation with fifteen training centres across the Black Country, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire.

Over the last five years Juniper has experienced significant growth, aligned to winning new LSC, JCP and ESF mainstream contracts. This has meant opening additional training centres in Walsall, Brierley Hill, Wednesbury and relocating to bigger purpose built accomodation in Wolverhampton. In June 2006 we were successfully awarded the Jobcentre Plus New Deal contract in Staffordshire, which meant opening an additional five training centres in Hanley, Shelton, Burslem, Burton on Trent and Tamworth. In September 2007 we moved into Derbyshire with the opening of our Chesterfield training centre. This was joined by Glossop in June 2008 and Derby city centre in August 2008.

Our expansion is best demonstrated through our staffing levels, where we have gone from employing 20 staff in 2001 to employing 200 staff to date. In an ever changing industry, we are always looking to further expand the Juniper brand to remain competitve in the market place.

Juniper Training exists to help people of all ages and backgrounds to develop the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to find and keep a job. We have helped thousands of people improve their quality of life so far, and we are well prepared to help many more in the future.

At Juniper we continualy strive to improve the quality of the service that we provide and this is confirmed by our ambitious vision statement, which reads:
